Good cheap easy but check prices
Bought this from Home Depot for a little over 40 dollars. I had already put foam insulating tape around the edges of the attic pull-down stairs but the attic door cover was at least 20 degrees colder than the ceiling around it. I used the wonderful Black & Decker TLD100 Thermal Leak Detector to check the temps. Once I installed the Insulator the temperature difference went to less than 2 degrees difference from my celing.
The product is very easy to install and very easy to move out of the way when needing access to the attic. You unfold it and let it rest on the attic floor around the opening for the stairs. And it is less than half the price of the Battic attic insulator. This product is a no-brainer.
The price currently shown for the product is about $18 more than other places online so check around.More detail ...
